Martock Fete - Saturday 6 June
Hundreds of people turned out for the fete in aid of All Saints Church, Martock despite predictions for heavy showers. But although it was pretty chilly and blowy, the rain was nowhere to be seen. The crowds enjoyed dance displays and the dog training competition and there was the usual range of stalls and refreshment stands. Kingsbury Band, although a little depleted in numbers due to holiday absences, played well and managed to stop the music blowing away by using lots of clothes pegs! A good afternoon was had by all.
